Over here by Garga Pool in Chas, things are usually moving pretty fast. Our place, Bajaj Pvt. Ltd., is right near the water. You can’t miss it if you’re coming over the bridge. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. It's not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a practical space where we handle our daily business. We deal with various bits and pieces depending on what's needed in the local market. Sometimes the office gets a little noisy because of the traffic outside, but we’re used to it after all these years. The staff here are mostly locals from Chas or nearby areas. We all know each other well and some of us are related. We don’t have a big fancy reception area. Usually, you just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you right away. We keep a lot of records in big ledgers and some on the old computer. It's a bit of a mix of old and new ways of doing things. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We spend most of our day on the phone or talking to people who drop by for a chat or business. It’s a busy spot near the pool. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just show up every morning and do what needs doing. If the rain is heavy, the walk to the entrance gets a bit muddy, so watch your step.
