Himadri Steel is based right here in Jharkhand. We don't really have a specific city office to talk about for this one, just our presence in the state. As anyone knows, Jharkhand is the heart of India's metal and mining world. Being a steel company here feels natural. We spend our time dealing with raw materials and finished steel products that go out to all sorts of builders and factories. It’s a gritty business. There is a lot of dust, the sound of heavy machinery, and the constant movement of trucks. We aren't the type of people to wear suits and sit in air-conditioned rooms all day. Most of the time, we are out where the steel is, checking on the loads and making sure the orders are moving along. The weather can be tough, either really hot or very rainy, but that is just how it is in this part of the country. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just know that people need steel to build things, and we are here to provide it. It’s about as straightforward as a business can get. We have been doing this for a while and we know the local landscape pretty well. We just keep working hard and try to stay reliable for the people who depend on us. There is something satisfying about seeing the metal leave the yard, knowing it is going to build something real.
