Our place is situated on Station Road in Giridih, Jharkhand. Being on Station Road means we are always hearing the trains and seeing people rushing to catch their rides. It’s a very central part of town, so something is always happening outside. The 815301 pin code area is where we’ve set up our industrial operations. It’s a tough environment, working with steel or whatever materials are on the schedule for the day. The air is often heavy with the smell of coal and metal, which is pretty standard for this part of Jharkhand. We have a lot of workers coming in from the nearby villages. Our office is just a plain room with some wooden tables and old files stacked up in the corner. We don’t go in for fancy furniture. The focus is always on what’s happening in the yard or on the floor. It’s hard work, and the summers here can be really brutal. We drink lots of water and try to stay in the shade when we can. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just know the routine. Giridih is a small place where news travels fast, so we just try to keep our heads down and do the work right. It’s not a complicated life, just a busy one.
