We are located in Siyaljori Village, which is part of the Chandankiyari Block. It is a quiet place most of the time, but we keep busy with all the steel work we do here. The plant is situated near Devgram, and most people in the district know where to find us because it is a pretty big site. We make steel, and that involves a lot of heat and noise every day. It is hard work, but that is just how the industry is. We have people from all the nearby villages coming in for their shifts. It is not a fancy place to work. There is always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of machines running. You can see trucks coming and going constantly on the road outside. We deal with raw iron ore and big furnaces all day long. It is a long process to get everything right. We just try to keep the machines in good shape. Some days are better than others, especially when the weather is bad. When it rains hard in this part of the district, things can get a bit muddy and slow. We just stick to what we know and keep the production going. There isn't much to say about us beyond the work we do. We have become part of the landscape over the years. People know us by the sound of the metal moving. It’s not a desk job. We are out here in the heat doing what needs to be done.
