Bermo Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited is a group of us farmers located in the Bermo area of Bokaro. You can find us at Chatrochatti, specifically at Mahesh Rajak’s place. We live and work right here in Jharkhand, so we know all about the local farming conditions. This company isn't about being big or famous. It’s just a practical way for us to pool our resources and make sure our farms are doing as well as they can. We spend our days out in Bermo, working the fields and dealing with the heat and the rain. When we need to talk about business, we meet at Mahesh Rajak’s. It’s a very local, down-to-earth operation. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure we can get our produce to people and that we have enough money left over to plant again next year. Farming is a tough life, and doing it alone is even tougher. That’s why we started this. It’s a group of neighbors who trust each other. We talk about real things like the price of fertilizer or which crops are doing well this year. It’s not always perfect, and we make mistakes, but we are doing our best. It’s just life in Chatrochatti. We focus on the everyday work that keeps the farm running. There is always something to do, so we just get on with it together.
