Baradih Jh Farmer Producer Company Limited is a group of us who farm in the Baradih area. We are based at the place of Sri Basanti Mahti, the son of Juthan Mahto. This is in the Jaridih region of Bokaro, with our post office being Bandhdih. We are just local people who decided that forming a producer company was the best way to handle our work. We aren't some big business from the city. Most of us have spent our whole lives in Baradih and the surrounding villages. Sri Basanti Mahti lets us use his place for the company business, which is very helpful. It’s a simple, practical setup without any corporate frills. We spend our days out in the fields around Bandhdih and Jaridih. That’s where the real work happens. We don't use marketing language because we don't really have a use for it. We just talk about the soil, the seeds, and the weather. Being in Bokaro gives us some good connections, but our heart is in the village. This company is our way of looking out for each other and making sure our farming stays viable. It’s hard, honest work and we are proud of it. We don't have any polished mission statements. We just show up every day and do what needs to be done. Baradih Jh Farmer Producer Company Limited is just us, the Mahto family and their neighbors, working the land together in our own way.
