Dharampura School

Our school, Dharampura School, sits in the Sodhar area of Panamadangi within Bilaspur. It's a quiet part of Chhattisgarh with the pin code 495330. It’s a bit of a drive to get here if you’re coming from the main city center, but it’s a nice spot. We have a simple setup here. The school building has been standing for a while and it shows its age in some places, but it works for what we need. Kids from Sodhar and the nearby villages walk or bike over every morning. We don't have fancy websites or big billboards. Most people find out about us just by talking to their neighbors. Inside, it’s just rows of desks and blackboards. We spend the day teaching math, science, and languages. It gets pretty quiet during lesson time, then loud again when the lunch bell rings. There’s a bit of a playground where the students run around. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who handle everything from teaching to fixing a leaky tap. It’s a basic life here at Dharampura School. We just try to make sure the kids show up and do their work. It’s not a complicated operation. We’ve been in Panamadangi for a long time now and we plan to stay right here, doing the same thing every day for the community kids and their families as they pass through our gates.
