Yashika Beauty Parlour is tucked into Victor Palace over in Lalghati. We are pretty easy to spot because we are right near the Tata Service Centre in Vijay Nagar. The address is Bhopal, 462030. It’s a busy little pocket of the city. Having the service center nearby means there’s always something happening around us. Victor Palace itself is a recognizable building for people who live around here. I usually get in early to beat the traffic coming through Lalghati. The shop isn't massive, but it fits everything we need. We get a mix of people coming in—some are from Vijay Nagar and others are just passing through the area. It’s a practical location. Sometimes the noise from the street is loud, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We don't put on any airs here. It’s a straightforward shop for people who need their hair or skin looked after. I keep the chairs clean and the mirrors wiped down. It’s just me and a couple of others most days. We don’t have a big marketing plan; we just rely on people seeing the sign or hearing about us from a neighbor. It’s been our home for a while now. Lalghati is a good place to be, even if it gets a bit crowded during the rush hour.
