About Vindhyachal Sanchi Parlour – Beauty & Salon in Bhopal
We set up this small Sanchi parlour right here at Vindhyachal Bhavan in Arera Hills. It is a quiet spot mostly, though mornings get a bit busy when people come for their milk and curd. We keep the fridge stocked with Sanchi packets, flavored milk, and those little ice cream cups that kids like. The building is a big landmark in Bhopal, so finding us isn't too hard once you're on the hill. My cousin and I take turns sitting at the counter. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we have a small generator to keep the milk cold. We don't have fancy shelves or anything, just the standard coolers and a few racks for biscuits and snacks. People from the offices nearby usually drop in during their lunch break to grab a cold drink or some buttermilk. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always running. We've been here for a while now, just doing our thing and making sure the crates are organized every morning when the truck arrives. It's a simple life, really. We know most of the regular faces who walk through the doors. There isn't much to say other than we keep the basic dairy stuff ready for whoever needs it. Some days are slower than others, but that is just how it goes with a small shop like this one. We try to stay open until late evening so workers can pick up milk on their way home.
