We are over in Shastri Nagar, specifically at Plot Number 21. If you find the Bajaj Showroom, we are right above it on the first floor. This place is a bit different because we do salon work but also teach people. It’s a training centre too. We focus on herbal stuff for the most part. The building is near Unique College and the New MLA Quarters. Because of the college nearby, we see a lot of younger students coming in and out. The training part keeps us very busy with classes during the day. We have separate rooms for spa treatments too. It can get a bit quiet back there when someone is getting a massage. The front area is where the regular salon stuff happens. We have plenty of herbs and oils around. It smells like eucalyptus and sandalwood inside the shop. Sometimes the students make mistakes, but that’s just how they learn the trade. We’ve been in Bhopal for quite some time now. The stairs to the first floor can be a bit dusty on windy days. We try to keep the training area separate from the client area so nobody gets confused. It’s a practical place for learning. We don’t have fancy decorations. Just posters of hair styles and some herbal product bottles on the shelves. People come here to learn a skill and get a job. We just provide the space and the tools. It’s a long day for us at Swastik Herbal.
