To find us, you have to head up to the first floor of House No 282 in the Kalpana Nagar area. It’s right on Raisen Road, and you can’t miss the Piplani Petrol Pump nearby. Being up on the first floor means it stays a bit quieter than the shops right on the pavement, though you can still hear the motorbikes zooming past all day. We are situated near the Sonagiri area and right across from the Jain Temple, which is the easiest landmark to give people. The space is basically an old house that was converted into a work area. We’ve got different rooms for different things. The lighting is okay, mostly natural light coming through the windows during the day. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the various bottles and jars on the wooden shelves. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep, especially if you’ve had a long day, but most of our customers don't mind. It’s a busy part of Bhopal, so there's always some kind of noise or construction happening outside. We have a small wooden desk near the door where we keep our old register and a pen. The floor is tiled and we mop it every single morning before we pull up the shutters. It’s a very plain setup, nothing fancy or polished, just some chairs and mirrors and the smell of creams. Regulars from around Piplani come by often to say hello. We keep the tea kettle going in the back room for when we get a quick break.
