Shree Shivalingeshwar High School is situated on Raisen Road in Bhopal. The pin code for our area is 462022. If you know Raisen Road, you know it’s a long stretch with plenty of things happening. Our school is just one of the buildings along that way. It’s a high school, so we deal with the older kids who are getting ready for their exams. The building itself is pretty plain. We don't spend much on decorations or flashy signs. We just have our classrooms and the basic stuff students need. It can get dusty because of all the traffic on Raisen Road, but we try to keep the place tidy. We’ve been operating here for years now. Most of our staff have been with us for a long time too. We aren't a high-end private school with a swimming pool or anything like that. We are just a local school for local families. The kids come from the surrounding colonies and blocks. Some take the bus, others walk. We open early in the morning and close once the last bell rings and the kids head home. It’s a straightforward life here. We deal with the heat in the summer and the rain in the monsoon just like everyone else. There's no big mission statement on the wall, just a timetable and some chalkboards. We just do our work and hope the kids learn something useful for their lives.
