Shorya Aajeevika Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Gram Nandana in Shajapur. We mostly operate from where Ramcharan Jagannath Singh stays at house number 515. It is a quiet village area called Barodia Kumaria. We are just a bunch of farmers who realized that working alone was getting too difficult these days. Prices for everything keep going up and it felt right to get organized. Most of us spend our days in the fields anyway so this is just an extension of that work. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It's just a room where we meet and talk about what we need to buy for the next season. Being here in Madhya Pradesh the weather can be tough sometimes but you just deal with it. We try to help each other out with seeds and stuff. Sometimes we gather at the village square to discuss things before heading back to work. It is not always easy and there is a lot of paperwork we didn't expect when we started this. But we are learning as we go. Ramcharan's place is where the main address is but you can find most of us out in the dirt most of the time. We hope to make things a bit more stable for our families here in Nandana. It is just local people trying to keep the farming life going in a world that is changing fast.
