Our company is Josan Healthy Veggies Farmers Producer Company Limited. We are located in Kangthali, at village number 67. It’s a quiet place and we like it that way. We mostly deal with vegetables because that’s what grows well around here. Growing veggies is a lot harder than grain because they spoil so fast. You have to be quick. We started this group so we could help each other get the crops to the city markets before they go bad. It’s just a bunch of us local farmers sitting together and making plans. We don't have a big office building. We usually meet at the village site. Some people think we should have a fancy website or a big sign, but we don't see the point. We’d rather spend that money on better crates or transport. The roads in Kangthali aren't always the best, especially when it rains, so getting the trucks out can be a struggle. We’ve had many days where we were stuck in the mud. It’s all part of the job, I guess. We are just normal people who know about dirt and plants. We don't know much about big business talk. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming and making a living. It’s a simple life but it’s ours. If you ever come to village 67, you’ll see what I mean about the pace of life here.
