Shabrimata Mahila Kisan Producer Company

Our group, Shabrimata Mahila Kisan Producer Company, is located in Khawasa. Specifically, we are at Ward No 02 on Bajna Road, in the care of Ishwar Kailashchand Kahar. This is a place where we bring together the efforts of women farmers in the Thandla area. We wanted a central spot where we could meet and organize our work, and this address has been where we do that. It is a busy place most mornings. You will see a lot of activity around Bajna Road when we have things to move or meetings to attend. We are not a big corporation with fancy offices. We have a simple room with some chairs and our ledgers. Most of us are more comfortable in the fields than behind a desk, but the paperwork has to be done. We talk about everything from the price of seeds to how to manage the harvest better. It is a supportive environment. Being in Ward No 02 makes us easy to find for anyone living in Khawasa. We have grown slowly over time, just adding more local women to the group when it feels right. There is no big pressure here, just the daily grind of making sure the company stays on its feet. We help each other out with whatever comes up. It is how things get done in a small town like Thandla. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
