R K Hair Dresses is located right at the Habib Ganj Naka in Bhopal. It is a very busy spot because of all the people moving through the main road every day. We have been here for a long time, and the shop has seen a lot of years. It’s a small place, really. We just have a few chairs and some mirrors on the walls. Most of our customers are the same people we’ve seen for a decade. They live nearby and just stop in for their regular trim. We don't do any of that fancy styling you see on the internet. It’s just straightforward haircuts and shaves for men. The shop can get a bit noisy because of the traffic right outside the door, but we are used to it by now. We have a small television in the corner that usually plays the cricket matches or some local news. It helps people pass the time while they are waiting their turn. We don't really have a staff, it’s just me and a helper most days. We keep our tools clean and our scissors sharp. That’s about it. There’s no big secret to how we work. We just show up every morning and open the shutters. Bhopal has changed a lot, but this little corner at the Naka stays pretty much the same. We like it that way. If you are around and need a quick shave, we are usually here until the evening ends.
