Public Royal Higher Secondary School

Our school is tucked inside the Shri Janki Kuti Parisar on Gali 2. It’s in the Retghat area of Bhopal, which stays pretty crowded most of the time. Being a higher secondary school, we deal with the older students who are always worried about their big exams. The atmosphere is usually a bit serious, especially in the afternoons. The building is old and has that specific smell of old paper and stone. We have a small staff room where we sit and drink tea when there’s a break. Outside in the street, you can hear the bikes and the local shops opening up. It’s not a quiet spot, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have any big sports fields or anything, just the space we have in the Parisar. The students come from the nearby lanes and colonies. Sometimes the gate gets blocked by a delivery truck, and we have to go out and ask them to move. We spend a lot of time checking attendance and making sure nobody is skipping class to go to the market. It’s a basic setup, very practical. We focus on the books and getting through the year without too much trouble. It’s just how things are run around here in Retghat.
