Mahindra Steel Service Centre Ltd. is out in the C-10 11 Industrial Area. If you come out this way, you’ll see it’s a lot of metal and big machinery. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the sound of steel being moved or machines running in the background. We spend our days dealing with heavy materials and making sure everything is cut or processed right. The office is a bit dusty because of the location, but that’s just the nature of working in an industrial zone. We don’t wear suits here; it’s mostly boots and work clothes. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination. The trucks come in early and leave late. We have a solid crew who knows how to handle the equipment. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for a fancy meeting, but it’s where the real work gets done. The industrial area can be a bit confusing if you haven’t been here before, as all the blocks look a bit similar. We’ve been at C-10 11 for a long time, and we know the rhythms of the place. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but we just keep going. We aren’t interested in sounding corporate. We just focus on the steel and making sure the orders are ready when they need to be. We have a small canteen where we eat lunch together, mostly just simple food.
