Jayaco Die Fabricators

Our shop, Jayaco Die Fabricators, is tucked away in the Govindpura Industrial Area at Plot No. 2-A. If you know where the Vishkarma Mandir is, we are right behind it. It’s a loud neighborhood with a lot of metalwork going on everywhere you look. We spend our days around machines and heavy tools. The air always smells a bit like burnt metal and cooling oil, which is something you just get used to after a week. We make dies and do fabrication work, mostly for people who have been coming to us for years. It’s not the kind of place where everything is shiny and new. The floors have stains and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the machines run well and that’s what matters to us. Usually, there’s a lot of measuring and double-checking drawings before we start any actual cutting. We’re not a huge operation, just a handful of us making sure the work gets done right. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, so we stay late while the street outside gets quiet. We usually have the radio playing in the background, though you can’t hear it much over the lathes. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't think much about it, we just do the job and head back home.
