Peoples Public School

People often see us when they are driving down the Bhanpur Bypass Road. The Peoples Campus is a big place and we are just one part of it here in Bhopal. We’ve got the 462001 pin code, so we are fairly central but still on that busy edge of town. Every morning is the same routine: the security guards open the big gates and the noise starts. It’s a lot of kids running around before the first bell. We have teachers who come from all over the city, some taking two buses just to get here. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff like chalkboards and stacks of notebooks. It can get a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we try to keep the place clean enough. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day when everyone is out in the open areas. We don’t really do anything special, just follow the schedule and make sure the kids are in their seats. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out. It’s a typical school day every day. People in Bhopal know where we are because of the landmark campus. We just do our work, grade the papers, and go home when the sun starts to go down.
