Parsoriya Farmer Producer Company Limited is essentially just us farmers from the Parsoriya area in Sagar. You can find us through Gopal, who is the son of Hukam Lodhi, as he’s been helping get everyone together lately. We are located right in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, zip code 470001, where the dirt is black and the sun is usually quite strong. We decided to form this company because doing everything by yourself is just too much these days. Between the price of tools and the way the market jumps around, we needed a way to stick together. We aren't experts in business or anything like that. We are just guys who know how to grow things and how to handle a tractor. Most of the time, we are just talking about what needs to be planted next or how to get the water to reach the far fields. It’s not a polished operation at all. Sometimes we meet at Gopal’s house and just drink tea and talk about the harvest. We don't use big words or have fancy brochures. We just want to make sure our kids have a reason to stay in the village and keep the farms going. It's honest work, and it's often quite tiring, but being part of this group makes it feel a bit more manageable. We are just trying to get by, one season at a time.
