New Look Beauty Parlour And Spa

Our little place is located at 75, Parvati Sadan. It’s tucked inside the Private Bijli Nagar Colony over in Govindpura. If you happen to know where the Mata Mandir is, then you’ll know we are quite close to that spot. Since it’s a residential colony, it isn’t nearly as loud as the big markets in the center of Bhopal. The shop is actually part of a house, which I think gives it a bit more of a personal, homey feel. We have the usual setup with some old chairs and a large mirror that has been there since the day we opened. The colony is usually very peaceful during the day, mostly just children playing or people walking over to the temple. We open up early and start by dusting every surface because the dust from the street always seems to find its way inside. It’s a simple, quiet life running a parlour in this part of town. We know almost all of the neighbors and their kids. We don't bother with big neon signs, just a basic painted board outside the gate. Sometimes, if things are slow, we just sit on the front steps and watch the day go by. The interior is just painted white with a few old posters stuck on the walls. We have a small water cooler in the corner that makes a funny glugging sound whenever someone uses it. People often come in just to chat for a bit. We try to stay organized, but tools always end up scattered on the counters.
