New Empire The Salon

You can find New Empire The Salon over by the Babe Ali Ground in the Idgah Hills area of Bhopal. It is a nice part of town, especially being so close to Pari Bazaar where everything is always happening. The salon itself is right on the ground, and we get a lot of breeze when the weather is good. I spend a lot of time outside the front door just watching the people go towards the bazaar. The shop isn't massive, but we have managed to fit a few good chairs and all our equipment inside. Every morning starts with the same routine of wiping down the counters and checking the water. Being near Babe Ali Ground means we see a lot of kids playing and people taking walks in the evening. It’s a community spot more than anything else. We have had the same neighbors for years, and we all look out for each other. Sometimes people come in just to escape the sun for a few minutes while they are out shopping at Pari Bazaar. The interior is simple, with some posters on the walls and a radio that plays old songs. We don't have fancy coffee machines or anything, just a jug of water for anyone who is thirsty. It is a plain, honest place where we do our work and go home when the sun sets over Idgah Hills. That is basically the whole story of our little shop.
