Meghaseoni Farmer Producer Company Limited is just a group of us from around Chhindwara who decided to work together. We operate out of Shyama Bai’s place in Meghaseoni. It’s a quiet spot. Mostly, we are busy in the fields during the day, so if you come looking for us, you might have to wait until the evening. Chhindwara weather can be tricky, sometimes we get too much rain and other times we are just waiting for a cloud to show up. We grow what most people here grow, mostly seasonal stuff. The reason we started this company was because it’s hard for one farmer to do everything alone. We talk about seeds and what the market is doing today. Sometimes we sit around and just discuss how the soil is looking this year. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a room where we keep our papers and meet up. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, so we know the land around 480223 pretty well. It’s a lot of work, waking up early and staying out late. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us taking turns to look after things. We try to help each other out when someone’s tractor breaks down or if the harvest is coming all at once. It’s just how things go in a village. We aren't looking to be famous, just trying to make the farm work.
