Medhya Farmer Producer Company Limited is our name and we are located in the Mandla district. Specifically, you can find us at Rajaysinh Ulari’s house in Paraswada Chiraidongri village. It is a small place near Nainpur. We are a bunch of farmers who got together to try and make things a bit easier for everyone in the village. Mandla is a beautiful area but farming here takes a lot out of you. We don't have a corporate office with fancy furniture. We just use a corner of the house to keep our papers and meet with the other farmers. Mostly, we talk about what crops to plant and where we can get the seeds. It’s a lot of talking over tea and trying to figure out the weather. We aren't trying to be some big national company. We just care about our own fields and our neighbors' fields. Sometimes the roads to the village get bad during the monsoon, so it’s hard to get things moving. But we manage one way or another. We don't use big words or have a "vision" like those companies in the city do. We just want to make sure the crops are good and we can sell them for a decent price. It’s a quiet life in Paraswada, and we like it that way. We spend our days between the dirt and the ledgers, just trying to get by and keep the land healthy.
