Maabageshwari Navkrishak Farmers Producer Company Limited

This company, Maabageshwari Navkrishak Farmers Producer Company Limited, is based out of Borgaon Buzurg. We are in the Pandhana block of East Nimar. Megha Gupta helps us out with the space here in the village. It is a rural area and most of us have been farming our whole lives. We decided to put this group together because it is hard to do everything alone. When you have a company name, it makes some of the buying and selling a bit easier, but at the end of the day, we are just neighbors. The village life is slow but we keep busy with the fields. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should and that is when we really need to talk things through. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the farmers in East Nimar get a decent shake. Our office is just a simple room in the village. You see the same faces every day. We handle seeds and whatever else the members need. It takes a lot of effort to keep the books right. We try our best with what we have. People stop by when they have a question or just to see what the latest news is. It is a community effort through and through. Madhya Pradesh is big, but here in Borgaon Buzurg, everyone knows everyone. That is how we like it. We aren't experts at business, just at farming our own land.
