Look Like Hair Point

Being on the main road in Bairagarh is always a bit noisy with all the traffic and buses heading through Bhopal. Our shop, Look Like Hair Point, is right in the middle of all that movement. I start the day by sweeping the hair from the day before and getting the combs ready. The chairs are a bit old but they work fine for a twenty-minute haircut. People from around the Bairagarh area stop by often, some are in a big hurry to get to their jobs and others just want to sit for a while and talk while they wait their turn. The mirrors have a few smudges sometimes because the local kids touch everything, but that is just life in a busy shop. We have the usual posters on the wall showing different hair styles, though most people just ask for the same short cut every single month. It gets pretty hot in Bhopal during the summer months, so the fan is always spinning on its highest setting. Sometimes we have a small radio playing in the back, mostly just the news or some old film songs. There is no big fancy sign, just our door on the main road. We see the same faces every few weeks, and it is nice to see the neighborhood kids growing up. Working here feels normal, just a part of the daily grind like every other shop on this street.
