Lelta Danda Desau Krishak Utpadak Sangathan Producer Company Limited is over in Village Lelta. We operate out of Koti Colony, specifically at Jagat Singh Chauhan’s place. It’s a quiet village and we like it that way. We are just a group of farmers who wanted to pull our resources together to see if we could do better. Lelta Danda is where we spend most of our time. It’s not a fancy office setup with air conditioning and fancy coffee machines. We just have some chairs and a wooden table where we talk about the harvest. Most of us have known each other since we were kids playing in these streets. This company is just a way to make sure we are all looking out for one another in the market. Jagat Singh has some space we use for our weekly meetings. Sometimes we just stand around outside if the weather is nice and clear. We don't have a big sign or a fancy website. People in the village know where we are if they need to talk. Koti Colony is a small part of Lelta, so it’s easy for anyone to find us. We don't have a marketing plan or any of that business school stuff. We just focus on the farming and the daily chores. It is a bit disorganized sometimes, but we get things finished eventually. We are just honest people trying to make a living.
