K M Convent Higher Secondary School

Being located in Misrod, right on the edge of Bhopal, means we get a mix of that city energy and the quieter feel of the outskirts. K M Convent Higher Secondary School isn't a massive place, but it fills up fast once the day starts. You can see the traffic moving along the main road from some of the upstairs windows, which can be a bit distracting if you aren't used to it. We spend a lot of our time just managing the flow of people coming in and out. The school building has its quirks, like that one door that always squeaks no matter how much oil you put on it. We don't really bother with fancy decorations much; we just keep things clean and functional. During lunch breaks, the smell of different home-cooked meals fills the hallways, which is probably the best part of the day. It’s a bit of a trek for some of us to get here from other parts of Bhopal, but you get into a rhythm after a few weeks. The classrooms have high ceilings and plenty of fans going because it gets stuffy. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big signs or loud ads. We are just here, doing the work, day in and day out. It’s a simple setup where everyone knows their place and what they are supposed to be doing before the final bell rings.
