We are located out on the Bhopal Jaipur Road, right along National Highway 12. It’s a bit of a trek out here toward Shahapura. You’ll find us near the Parvalia Thana, which is a good landmark if you’re driving down Shahpur Road. Being out by the highway means we have plenty of space, which is necessary for the kind of aeronautics work we do. It’s not like being in the city; it’s much more open and a bit quieter, except for the sound of trucks passing by on the NH 12. Parvalia Sadak is the main stretch here. We spend our days in the hangars and classrooms, working on engines and teaching the basics of flight engineering. It can get pretty dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up across the fields. The staff mostly travels in from Bhopal, so the morning commute is a big part of the day. We are a practical bunch. There’s no point in being fancy when you’re dealing with greasy parts and heavy machinery. We just make sure the students learn what they need to know. It’s a long day for everyone, but there’s a good sense of community because we’re all out here together. If you miss the turn near the police station, you’ll end up way past us, so we always tell people to watch for the Thana.
