Ijaragadh Farmer Producer Company Limited is based over in Chhardahiijargarh at house number 01. It’s Denanath Singh’s place. We aren't a big corporation from the city. We are just a bunch of farmers from around the village who decided to team up. Running a farm is tough enough on your own, so we figured we would be better off working as a group. Most of us have been working these fields since we were kids. This company is our way of trying to get organized. The office is basically a room where we keep our records and meet up to talk about what crops to plant next. It’s nothing fancy, just a practical space for practical people. Sometimes the village kids play outside while we are trying to figure out the transport for the next load of grain. Chhardahiijargarh is where we all live and breathe, so it made sense to set up right here. We don't have a lot of time for polished speeches or fancy brochures. We would rather be out checking the irrigation or looking at the plants. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes. We are just trying to make sure our hard work pays off at the end of the season. It's a local effort through and through. We might not have everything figured out yet, but we are learning and growing together as a community.
