Faison Hair Dressors

Our shop is at 3A on the Main Road in M P Nagar. It’s a busy area in Bhopal. Being near Sargam Cinema means there is always a crowd outside. We have been cutting hair here for quite some time. It is a small place, just a few chairs and mirrors. We handle men’s hair mostly, focusing on quick cuts and shaves. The noise from the traffic is constant, but you get used to it. My tools are simple. I have my favorite scissors and a couple of combs that have lasted years. I don’t believe in those fancy electronic gadgets much. A good hand is what matters for a clean shave. The shop opens early in the morning because office workers want a quick trim before work. We don't have a fancy waiting area. People just stand or sit on the bench outside. It is a very basic setup. I keep the floor swept, but it’s hard with so many customers. Bhopal has changed a lot, but this corner feels the same. We know most of our regulars by their first names. They don’t even have to tell us what they want. They just sit down and we start. It’s a straightforward job. No frills, just hair cutting on the main road. Sometimes the rain splashes inside the doorway because we are right on the street. I just mop it up and keep going. That's how it is.
