Devikas Beauty Parlour

Devikas Beauty Parlour is on the first floor of building E 1/70, right on the Main Road in Arera Colony. Bhopal is a big city but this area feels familiar to us. We have been here for a bit, doing hair and skin work for the ladies in the colony. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up a few steps, but it’s easy to find once you are on the Main Road. The space isn’t huge but it is enough for what we do every day. We handle things like waxings, haircuts, and basic skincare. It is just a normal shop where people come to feel a bit better about how they look. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just work. Arera Colony is a nice place to be, and there are always people walking by. We see a mix of younger students and older residents. Some days are slow and we just sit and wait for the next person to walk in. Other days, like during festival season, it gets really crowded and we are on our feet all day long. We try to keep things organized. The windows look out over the road so we can see the traffic passing by. It is a simple life here at the parlour. We just focus on getting the job done right for whoever walks through the door. We aren't trying to be something we aren't.
