D G Salon

You can find D G Salon on the ground floor at Centre Point. We have shops 29 and 30 in the Jinsi area of Bhopal. It’s a decent-sized space since we have two shop units combined into one. We set it up this way so people wouldn't feel too cramped when they come in for a haircut. There’s enough room for a few people to wait on the bench without bumping into each other. We spend our days mostly handling the usual hair and grooming stuff that people need. We aren't into those big corporate vibes or fancy uniforms. This is just a local business where we know our neighbors and the people who work in the other shops at Centre Point. The walls have some mirrors and we keep our combs and tools in the drawers near the chairs. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and getting the towels ready. It’s a routine we’ve gotten used to over the years. Jinsi is a busy part of town, so there’s usually someone walking by or looking in. We try to stay focused on the person in the chair and do a decent job. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break to drink from the glass cups. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We don't put on any acts or try to impress anyone. If you need a haircut, you just come in and wait your turn. The floor gets a bit dusty from the street and we sweep it often.
