Chocolate Unisex Salon

Chocolate Unisex Salon is over at 10, Janki Residency on Kolar Road in Bhopal. We are tucked behind the Earning Point Commercial Complex and quite close to the Vishal Megamart. Being behind a commercial complex means it’s a little hidden away from the main road noise, which is nice. You have to look for Janki Residency to find us. The salon is a unisex one, so we have all kinds of people coming in from the surrounding apartments. It is a bit of a walk from the main Megamart parking, but people find their way eventually. Inside, we have our stations set up for different things. The floor is usually covered in some hair by midday because we are constantly busy. We have a small desk where we keep the diary for appointments, but sometimes people just walk in and we have to tell them to wait a bit. Kolar Road is a fast-growing area, so there is always some construction or new shop opening nearby. We just focus on our small corner of the residency. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and a quick sweep of the front step. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life. We keep the mirrors clean and the towels washed. It’s just a regular shop where we do our best to get through the daily list of tasks. We hope the power stays on and the water keeps running so we can finish the work.
