Brajwasi Bhojnalaya And Sweet House

We are right here on Main Railway Station Road in Bhopal. If you are standing opposite Platform No 06, you will see our sign for Brajwasi Bhojnalaya And Sweet House. It gets very busy when the trains come in. We spend most of our day keeping the sweet counters filled because people like to take boxes with them when they travel. The kitchen stays hot from early morning until late at night. There are chairs and tables inside, nothing fancy, just a place to sit and eat some food. You can hear the station announcements from the front door. The road outside is usually full of rickshaws and people carrying bags. We have been in this spot for a while now. Some days it is quite dusty with all the traffic, but that is just how it is near the station. We put out the fresh sweets every morning and the staff starts chopping vegetables for the day's meals. It’s a simple routine we follow every single day. Most people who come in are in a hurry to catch a train or have just arrived in the city. We see a lot of different faces. Some regulars come by too. The ceiling fans stay on all day to keep the air moving. It is a practical kind of place for people who need a meal or something sweet while they are on their way somewhere else.
