Bombay Darbar Restaurant

Our restaurant is located at B 1/57 in the Housing Board Colony of Kohe Fiza, Bhopal. We are pretty close to the Arch Dishop, which is a local landmark people use to find us. It is a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, so we get a lot of families who live nearby. The building is a standard house that we have converted into a dining space. It feels a bit like eating in someone’s living room, which is what we intended. We do not have a corporate office or anything like that. The kitchen is right at the back, and you can usually hear the pans clanking and the chefs talking. We serve the kind of food we grew up eating. Some of the chairs do not match perfectly, and the paint might be peeling a little in the corners, but we keep it clean. It is a family-run place, so you might see my kids doing their homework at one of the tables in the afternoon. We do not have a fancy menu with photos; it is just a printed sheet of paper with what we have that day. People in Kohe Fiza know us as a reliable spot for a meal when they do not want to cook at home. We have been here at this address for several years and do not plan on moving. It is just a simple, local restaurant doing its thing every day for the community.
