Bajag Progressive Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based in Girvarpur, specifically at Lallu Singh Karpeti’s place. It’s a quiet village in the Dindori district. Our group, the Bajag Progressive Farmer Producer Company Limited, was started because we needed a better way to handle things together as farmers. Mostly we deal with what’s growing in our local fields around here. It gets quite busy during harvest time, and we spend a lot of time talking about seeds and the weather. We aren't a big city office with fancy desks. It’s just us working out of the village. Dealing with all the paperwork is a bit of a headache sometimes, but it helps the families here in Madhya Pradesh. We try to keep things simple and focus on what needs doing today. The roads around Dindori aren't always great, but we manage to get our work done. Being a producer company means we share the load. It’s not always easy, but we are figuring it out as we go. Most of us have lived in Girvarpur our whole lives. We know the land well. If you come looking for us, just ask for the place near Lallu Singh’s. People know where we are. We just want to make sure the farming stays solid for the next generation. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it. We are just a bunch of locals trying to get by and help our neighbors do the same. Nothing fancy about it at all.
