Baba Bhonalya

Baba Bhonalya is situated at shop number 6 on the Main Road, right opposite the Habib Ganj Railway Station in Bhopal. Being near the station means we are always busy with people coming and going. It’s a tiny shop, but we make it work. We’ve been here on Hoshangabad Road for a while now, serving travelers and people who work around the railway tracks. It gets very busy when the trains arrive, and we have to move fast. It’s not the quietest place to sit, but that’s the nature of being near a big station like Habib Ganj. We focus on getting the food out quickly because most of our customers are in a hurry to catch a train or a bus. The kitchen is small, so we have to stay organized. We aren't chefs with big hats, just cooks who know how to make a decent meal. We start early in the morning to get the first batch of food ready for the early commuters. Some days are more tiring than others, especially when it’s hot outside. We don’t have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. It’s a simple setup with a few tables and chairs. We appreciate the people who stop by every day on their way to work. If you’re waiting for a train and feeling hungry, you’ll find us right across the street from the station entrance. We just do our thing here and keep moving.
