Anjali Hair Dressers has been at 128, Indra Market for quite some time. If you walk through T T Nagar towards Jawahar Chowk, you will see our sign. It is a simple place with the usual barber chairs and mirrors. We handle regular haircuts and shaves for the people who live around here. Most of our regulars have been coming to us for years. They sit down, we talk about the weather or whatever is happening in the market, and I get to work. It is not one of those fancy modern salons with bright neon lights. We keep things pretty traditional. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast on a busy Saturday, so we are always sweeping. There is usually a radio playing softly in the background. It is a small shop, but it serves the community well. Being in Indra Market means there is always noise outside from the shoppers and the traffic. We open early most days because some men like to get a shave before they head to their jobs. You won't find any complicated menus here. Just a simple cut or a trim. My hands are always busy with the scissors or the clippers. It feels good to see someone walk out looking a bit neater than when they came in. That is basically what we do every day. I guess we are just a part of the neighborhood now.
