A K Gents Parlour

A K Gents Parlour is situated at Shop No 1 and 2 on Subhash Fatak Road. We are right in the heart of Subhash Nagar, specifically the Old Subhash Nagar side, very close to the Gurudwara. Being near the railway crossing means there is always noise and movement outside. People often stop by while waiting for the gates to open or after they visit the temple. It’s a man’s space mostly. We do hair cuts, shaves, and head massages. The chairs are old-school leather ones that are actually quite comfortable. I’ve worked here for a long time and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but the shop stays mostly the same. We have a small television in the corner that usually shows the news or a cricket match if one is on. Most of our customers are locals who live in the narrow lanes nearby. They come in for a quick trim and a bit of a chat about the local politics or the weather. We use simple products and we don't try to push anything extra on anyone. If you need a clean shave or a basic haircut, this is where you go. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast on Saturdays, so we are always sweeping. It's just a regular part of life in this part of Bhopal. Sometimes it’s dusty because of the road, but we keep the shop going.
