God Grace Public School

You can find us in Village Athaon, right in Ward No- 7. We are pretty close to the Govt High School, so this part of District Buxar has a lot of students moving around in the mornings. God Grace Public School isn't a massive institution, but we have enough space for the local children to sit and learn. The building has been there for a bit, and we do our best to keep it painted and clean. It’s a typical village school where everyone knows everyone else’s business. If a student is missing, someone usually knows why before the first period is over. We have benches that have seen better days, but they still work fine for the kids. The walk to the school can be a bit muddy during the monsoon season, but that's just how it is in our area. We don't have fancy computers in every room, but we make sure the books are there and the lessons are followed. The teachers here are local folks who care about how the village kids turn out. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the high school next door lets out, but we just carry on with our lessons. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going. We don't spend much on advertising because the word of mouth around Athaon is usually enough. It’s just a practical place for education and we are happy to be part of the village community here.
