Ganghar Jaivik Farmer Producer Companylimited is basically a group of us farmers who decided to team up. We use Rajesh Kumar’s house in Tola Dularpurkosik as our main meeting point. It’s in the Ganghar panchayat, part of the Arrah block in Bhojpur. If you come by, you’ll probably see a bunch of us sitting on the porch or in the yard talking about crops. We call ourselves Jaivik because we are trying to do things more naturally, without all those heavy chemicals everyone used to use. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the insects get the better of us, but we keep trying. The village of Dularpurkosik is a quiet place where people mostly mind their own business. Being a Farmer Producer Company means we have a lot of paperwork to deal with now, which isn't our favorite thing. We'd much rather be out in the dirt. Rajesh's place is easy to find if you know the local landmarks. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the usual village sounds and the smell of the fields. Bhojpur is a good place for farming if the rain comes at the right time. We are just a bunch of neighbors working together to see if we can get a better price for what we grow. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset every day.
