We started Ara Hariyali Producer Company Limited right here in Gaziyapur. It’s mostly just us folks from around the Krishnagarh area trying to get things done with the land. My name is one of the many people you’ll see around the office at Pati Ram Mahto’s place. Bhojpur is a place where everybody knows what it takes to grow things. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just dirt and hard work every day. Sometimes the rain helps us and sometimes it doesn't, but that’s just how it goes in Bihar. We handle a lot of the local produce and try to make sure everything gets sorted out properly. People come by the Gaziyapur location to talk about their crops or just to see what’s happening with the season. It’s not always easy keeping things organized when you have so many people involved from different parts of the district. We’ve got some tools and some storage, and we just try to keep moving. Most of us grew up here and we know the ground pretty well. We aren't trying to be some big city corporation. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the harvests are handled.
