Agrikochas Farmers Producer Company Limited

We started this company in Kochas at Sri Surendra Dubey’s house. It’s a group of farmers from the village and the surrounding Tola. We mostly focus on what we grow in our fields here in the Kochas block. It isn't anything fancy, just a room where we get together to figure out how to sell our crops and buy seeds. Farming here takes a lot of time and we realized doing it together is better than trying to do it all alone. Some of us have known each other since we were kids. The village is small, so everyone knows where the Dubey residence is. We deal with the usual crops grown in this part of the region. There are no big bosses here, just us farmers trying to make sure we don't get a bad deal at the market. Sometimes the rains don't come when they should, which makes things stressful. We spend a lot of time talking about soil and weather. It’s basic stuff. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sitting out front or working in the nearby fields. We don't have a big marketing team. It’s just us and our tractors. We want to make sure the work we do in the dirt actually pays off for our families. That's really all there is to it. We just keep our heads down and keep working the land every single day for our neighbors.
