Welspun Captive Power Generation Ltd. is our facility located at Survey No. 671 & 672 in Welspun City Village, Varsamedi. It’s a fairly large site because of the nature of what we do with power generation. We aren't a typical retail shop or a small office; we’re a technical facility through and through. Our staff consists of people who are used to working around big equipment and keeping things running 24 hours a day. It’s a lot of routine work, checking gauges, doing maintenance, and making sure everything is safe. Varsamedi is a quiet enough place, but our site is always active. We don't really have a "sales" side to our business because we’re a captive plant, so we just focus on the technical side of things. The office part of our building is pretty basic, mostly used for keeping records and having quick meetings about the day’s tasks. The weather out here can be quite harsh, especially in the summer, but we’ve got our routine down. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves; we’re just the people who make sure the power stays on for the rest of the operations here. It’s a lot of responsibility and it keeps us on our toes. We’ve been at these survey numbers for years and we’ve seen the whole Welspun City area grow and change around us. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs.
