You can find us at 225 Lingi Chetty Street, which is an old building. They used to call the number 108 back in the day. We are up on the first floor. This street is always crowded with people and carts moving things around. It’s one of those old parts of the city where everything is packed close together. Dealing with metal means we have some heavy stuff coming in and out, which can be a bit of a challenge on the stairs. We've been in this industry for a long time. The office is small and filled with samples of different metals we handle. It smells a bit like old paper and iron in here. Usually, the fan is humming all day to keep us cool because the building gets quite warm in the afternoon sun. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to different people about prices and deliveries. It’s not a very quiet place because of all the noise from the street below. You can hear the horns and people shouting throughout the day. We like the energy of this neighborhood though. It feels like real work is happening everywhere you look. We just try to keep things organized and make sure we know what is in stock. It’s a simple business run by people who know their metals well. We just stay busy with the orders coming in.
