Ultratech Cement

We live and work out of E127 in the Utcl Colony, which is tucked away in Kovaya in the Amreli district. Since we are with Ultratech Cement, being right here in the colony makes life a lot simpler for the daily commute. It is a small community where everyone knows everyone else’s business, mostly because we all work for the same place. Our building is just one of many in the colony, but it is where we handle the local affairs for the company. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. It is just us doing the paperwork and making sure the supplies are moving like they should. The air always has that slight smell of the cement plant, and you get used to the sound of the heavy trucks passing by on the main road. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is a bit spotty, but that is just life in this part of Gujarat. We do not make a big deal out of things. We just show up at E127, grab a coffee, and start looking at the day's orders. It is a practical way to live. We have been in Kovaya long enough to see the seasons change many times, and the work stays pretty much the same. It is about being reliable and getting the job done without making a fuss about it. That is what keeps us going month after month in the Amreli district.
