Talaja Sarvoday Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our spot is at Cm-8, right near Lakhubha Hall in the K.Bid area of Bhavnagar. It is a decent location, though finding parking near the hall can be a headache when there is an event going on. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means we are a bunch of local growers trying to handle our business together. The office is pretty small and usually smells like old paper and tea. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in from the nearby villages. Bhavnagar has a lot of history with farming, and we are just another part of that. We handle the paperwork and the logistics that most farmers find frustrating to do on their own. It is a lot of back and forth with the markets. Some of our equipment is a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone in a suit. Most of us show up in casual clothes and get straight to work. On rainy days, the roof leaks a little near the back door, so we have to move the files. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the produce gets where it needs to go and that the people we work with are treated okay. It is a busy life but it feels right being here.
