Sohan Lal & Co

Sohan Lal & Co is based in the Bhavna Complex on Street No 2. We are right at the Sarita Society Corner, just off the Bhavnagar Rajkot Highway. It’s a good spot because being near the highway makes it easy for us to get around, though it does get quite loud with the heavy trucks passing by. The complex itself is a bit older, and our office is a simple room with some sturdy wooden desks and metal filing cabinets. We’ve been here for years, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. Most of our day is spent looking through ledgers and talking to people who stop by. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers. It’s just a few of us handling the business as it comes. The sun hits the front window pretty hard in the morning, so we usually keep the blinds pulled down until lunch. We have a small stove in the corner where someone is usually making tea or warming up food. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, though we do work hard when things get busy. The neighbors in the other shops are all locals, and we often chat across the walkway during breaks. It’s a practical, no-nonsense place to be. We just focus on our tasks and make sure the day's work is finished before we head home.
